PHILIPS AZUR STEAM IRON
Philips Azur high temperature steam iron is the culmination of more than 40 years of quality Philips ironing products and remains standard-bearer of the Azur sub-brand . It is the heart of the Philips high temperature steam iron offerings, built for power, performance, and longevity thanks to an integrated calcium removal feature.
Anchored by a new soleplate architecture, the Philips Azur was developed from the board up as a complete overhaul of the previous model, inside and out. From the meticulously tuned dial haptics, to the lockable calc-collector, to the open structure handle bridge, every part was re-evaluated and improved.
DESIGN CHALLENGES
Replacing a very successful model in the ironing portfolio, which was still in demand, required a laser focused execution to improve on the previous generation and to satisfy our market sales counterparts.
