Philips Lumea Essential
The most affordable of Philips IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) products, yet equally as effective as the Prestige range. Conceived to eliminate the highest barrier of entry (price) and to attract a younger audience that may not have the money for more expensive appliances.
The project presented several interesting challenges: differentiating from the competition, minimizing the frame around the flash window, and creating enough ventilation in the grip zone to cool the high voltage lamp.
